People are changing all the time that’s what I love about being a human. If we would take it to a nicety we could say no one is the same then yesterday. But what do I want to say? I just want to say that it is completely normal to change.
I am going to share my thoughts in how I changed over the years right now. The first and most drastically way I`ve changed would be my eating habits. I remember a time as a child when “Käsnudel” (a delicacy from Carinthia stuffed noodle with quark and potatoes as well as a special herbal) and “Wiener Schnitzel” where my most favorite food. Nowadays I am vegan. I would not even touch a “Schnitzel” or quark. But it was the best decision I`ve ever made. Because I am helping the environment, the animals and also my own health improve daily.
The second radical change in my live was sport. I started working out with about 13 or 14 and I think since I am 16 I workout daily. I just cannot imagine a day without it and I have no idea what I did before. But also this change was positive. It has an positive impact in my health as well as in my mood. Since I workout I am so much stronger not just physically but also mentally.
Those are the two main changes I had in my live so far but there are a thousand more. Like friendships. In primary school I had totally different friends with different characters then today. But I think this is because my character also changed. Also the way I think about some things in life. And I am convinces that with every single small or big decision we make our character changes in a small way. So make the decision like the person you want to become would make it.
And last but not least my visual appearance changed. Thankfully. As a little girl I was quite cute. I had blond curly hair and big blue eyes. Later in primary school I had some differences with the way I looked and in elementary school those differences grown bigger. I was going throw puberty and my body did change but not in the way I had imagined it. But as I said as soon as I started working out my body did change again. Also my hair went darker with time but on my 16 birthday I started dyeing my hair blonde again. A bit later I stopped straighten it and Nowadays I look much more then my mini me then at elementary school.
Also my style did change. I´ve gone throw a time where I put way to much make up on and dressed myself a bit naughty. It took me a while until I found my own style and until I learned that I don´t have to stick to one style direction. But on this topic I will make an separate post.
What I wanted to say is that you don’t have to be afraid of changing. Changing is good. As long as you decide in which direction it goes. Always keep in mind that every decision you make will be a decision about who you are and who you want to be.
Hope you enjoyed this post. I would love to hear from you. XOXO Sarah
